Surrey MEET UP Sunday 2nd June 2024

We are pleased to announce a MEET UP near Reigate in Surrey on Sunday the 2nd of June 2024. We met at this pub 2-years ago and had a lovely time. John Twaites has kindly made the booking for us. Please RSVP as we must give them final numbers well in advance. We will meet at The Plough in Leigh, Reigate Surrey at 11.30 (table booked for 12 midday). The pub is doggy friendly and we have booked outside tables to give as plenty of space. However, if the weather is bad, the landlady said she could accommodate us inside, so this is an all weather event! John is going to bring some agility equipment which we plan to set up on the green outside the pub (after we have eaten). So at this MEET UP we are not planning a walk, but to have some fun with the Agility Equipment. Probably a good idea to bring dog treats for encouragement with the agility practice!

Just a note to say please keep your dogs under control and if necessary on a lead if behaviours get a bit anti-social as it can happen if they get excited or overwhelmed, especially the males! CLICK HERE for our MEET UP Guidelines.
The Plough is a country Village Pub situated on the village green. Late 14th to 15th Century and dogs are welcome, with their own watering bowl and biscuit jar! They have a pretty patio garden and decking at the front under the giant umbrella. Sarah Bloomfield has run this pub, at first with King & Barnes, but now under a Red Oak Taverns Tenancy, for 30 years. Still with some of the original members of the staff, but most of the team have clocked up several years service!
