Friendly Group Met in Southea Today

We had a great MEET UP in Southsea today. The setting was lovely, the lake, the beach with the backdrop of Southsea Pier – what a lovely place for a Sunday morning walk. And, the weather was kind to us again, thank goodness. We met by the lake and Debbie, took us round the lake, over the road and along the beach. The 2 young male Bolognese Phillip & Benson, really got on well chasing each other at high speed!

Greens Cafe were happy to accept so many dogs and we even got a small area to ourselves. The dogs were really good in the cafe. Brendan & Phillip won the raffle and we also sold some lucky dips making £21 for club funds. The lady working in the cafe awarded Handsomest Dog to Phillip and Prettiest Girl & Waggiest tail to young Minnie. It was lovely that Becky Mulligan came to visit us in the cafe as she is at University in Portsmouth.

The MEET UPS have been a real success this year, we have made friends and met new dogs & their owners. People have had a chance to ask questions to other Bolognese owners and share tips and memories.

No more MEET UPS till next year, maybe we can find some other lovely places to go.
