Pleased to Announce North West BOLOGNESE Meetup

With the help of Jacky Johnson, we are now able to announce a Bolognese MEET UP on the 15th of October in Southport. The plan is to meet in the lovely Botanic Gardens Southport on the Sunday the 15th of October for a walk and a drink/food in the cafe. Opened in 1874, this heavily wooded botanical garden has a fernery, aviary, gift shop and a cafe.

The gardens have a car park and if it is full there is plenty of parking nearby. We will meet in the car park at 11am. Entry is FREE.

About The Gardens
Just a few minutes out of the Southport centre in Churchtown is Southports Botanic Gardens. Originally opened in 1874, these Victorian gardens are bursting with floral splendour and colourful displays. Winding through the park is the garden’s lake and a multitude of pathways. There is an aviary, gift shop and café too, so there’s plenty to see and explore. Situated in the beautiful Botanic Gardens in Churchtown, the Botanic Gardens Cafe is a favourite with their well established regular customers as well as visitors. The cafe specialises in homemade food and snacks as well as selling a variety of unusual gifts and toys.
