MEMBER STORY – Cindy Costello

My name is Cindy Costello I am truly blessed to own two beautiful Bolognese doggies, a little boy called Teddy he is 6 years of age & a little girl called Petal she is 4 years of age. I live in Walsall in The West Midlands.

I did a lot of research on the Bolognese Breed the more I read the more I fell in love with them. I then set out to find the best breeder, it didn’t take me long to find my perfect breeder Shirley Hewitson ‘Moorhey Bolognese’. After studying Shirley’s website & speaking to her on the telephone the love & devotion for her Bollies just shone through I knew in my heart my decision was made on my breeder.

I had my little boy first Teddy from the age of 12 weeks he was just the perfect little chap I remember Shirley saying to me he will change your life forever & he surely has, he’s so loveable, loyal & puts a smile on my face every day.

I was now under the Bollie spell, as the saying goes one Bolognese is not enough! I remember sending Shirley a message saying I bet your house is quiet now with all the puppies gone to their new forever homes. I’ll never forget her saying no I still have little Petal, a photo appeared on my iPad screen of this sweet little Bollie girl my heart melted I’d fallen totally in love. A couple of months later we collected little Petal & our family was complete. Teddy fell in love with Petal straight away & Petal adored her big brother from the start, it was a match made in heaven.  I will be forever thankful to Shirley for entrusting me with two of her little cherubs. I could not imagine my life now without a Bollie or two!
