MEMBER PROFILE Kathleen Holliday

Kathleen Holliday is now in her second year of being a Pro-club Member. We thought it would be great for members to find out more about our Pro-members, so this is the start of a series of Member Profiles. Kathleen lives in Carlisle Cumbria with her husband and 2 Bolognese Rory & Reggie. She shows her dogs in the North of the country and will be at Crufts this year as a visitor. We asked Kathleen a little about her involvement with the breed.

What is your interest in Bolognese?
I wanted a hobby involving dogs and became interested in showing through my Havanese. I spotted the Bolognese at Toy Dog shows and fell in love with them

Why are Bolognese the breed for you?
Bolognese are endearing little dogs with great character

When did you first get involved in the breed?
I bought my first Bolognese in 2011 and have recently got another lovely little puppy

Tell us about your dogs
Rory, my oldest Bolognese, is now five and a half and since our puppy Reggie joined the family they have become inseparable

What is your background in dogs?
I’ve had dogs from an early age and can’t imagine life without them. As well as my two bolognese I also have a 9 and a half year old Havanese and a Tibetan Terrier who is nearly 15
