TEN NEW MEMBERS

We are delighted to say that we are welcoming more new members in this ‘welcome post’ than we have in any others!

We can welcome a mixture of Bolognese owners and enthusiasts to the club including Francesco Cochetti from Italy who is an FCI judge and board member of the Italian Maltese and Bolognese Club – Club del Bolognese e Maltese www.clubcbm.it. A recent interview with Francesco can be found on this and the Italian breed club website. Members click THE INTERVIEW to read about Francesco and what areas he thinks breeders in the UK should be looking at to improve the breed?

We can also warmly welcome Caroline Fabian (Tumbrill) from Lincolnshire who has been breeding and showing Bolognese for many years, with many of her dogs having successful show careers!  Other new JOINT Pro-members Hilary & Peter McCardel from Devon are serious show goers and well known around the Bolognese benches and its great that they are also now members.

Other new members include Jules Ward from Dorset and her Bolognese puppy Daisy who is currently staring in our Caption Competition with the lovely Colin the Cockapoo. Emma Dean from Manchester has also joined and she too has a puppy Bolognese called Frankie, who has just had his first hair cut. Emma says “We have met some lovely fellow owners who have been great in giving us lots of advice and we are excited to be part of this wider group”.

Other Bolognese owners that we are pleased to welcome are Muriel Grenfell-Hill from Shropshire and her husband as JOINT members, Markita Walczak from West Yorkshire and Thor De Maria from Northern Ireland.

Jayne Case from Fareham in Hampshire is a new member looking to own her own little Bolognese one day as is Mike Triggs although he knows the breed having recently been involved with getting to know two others belonging to his partner and her daughter. Mike was even at Crufts this year!

Whether you are a new or old member, please share your interest in the breed by loading up your profile. This club was build to be a community and others would love to see pictures of your dogs and your stories and interests. Spot prizes are given for those who make a real effort with their profiles, the last spot prize went to Tracey & Megan Richardson who changed their profile after a successful day at Crufts.

Phew, that was a lot of new members, welcome again to everybody!
