New Club Member from Australia!
Our 104th Bolognese Dog Club UK member is Alanna Bell from Belmont, New South Wales AUSTRALIA!
Alanna said, “We do not have the Bolognese breed in Australia yet. I am sure that, through membership of the club, I will learn much about this lovely little dog. My partner, Philip Williams and I are very keen on introducing the breed into the country. We are avid (and successful) exhibitors of Havanese. Philip is the most successful breeder of Havanese in Australia under the Hashki prefix. My husband Jim and I will be travelling to England next year and will be going to Crufts to look at the Bolognese judging and to meet breeders and exhibitors.
This is a very exciting time. Any help that the club could give us would be extremely appreciated. The Bolognese are such a lovely little breed and it is a pity that Australians have been unaware of them.”
Alanna is a Foundation Member and the Secretary of The Varieties Of Bichon Related Breeds Club of NSW Inc. She has been involved in breeding and showing dogs since 1980. Other breeds I have had include Australian Kelpies, Border Collie and Schipperke. Welcome to the cub Alanna.
