Alfie Hangs Up His Show Lead Aged 8
We have seen Joy Hough’s boy Alfie at shows for many years now (and his brother Joe before that) and we will miss him that’s for sure. Joy says, “Alfie has now hung up his show lead for the time being. He had quite a successful time in the show ring even being best puppy in breed at Crufts 2015 as well as many first places and Best Dog & Reserve Best Dog awards”.
Joy adds, “Unfortunately we find that Alfie is more interested in making friends with people and other dogs than concentrating on showing. He is such a loving and friendly little boy and finds it very difficult to stand still and perform. He is such a happy little chap and now he as reached the grand old age of 8-years (a veteran) we are going to let him hang up his show lead. We now plan to take Alfie back to agility classes which he really loved and was good at”.
