All about Enzo
We are a newly retired couple. Hence, we feel that now is the right time to look for a four legged companion that we could devote all our time and energy to. When looking for a dog on the Kennel Club website, bypassing the breed of our previous pet i.e. a Shih Tzu, the focus of our search was on the size and temperament of a number of dogs. We had not heard of the Bolognese breed before, but were impressed with the characteristics and personality featured in the description; in short, the breed just fits all of our requirements.
We picked up our little bundle of joy last August 2021. Enzo is a lovely puppy with a great personality. He is a well behave little boy and was already house trained as a puppy, under the loving care of our breeder Carol & Dennis Mulligan from just few weeks old. We are constantly amazed and impressed with how easy to put Enzo to bed with just a ‘bed time’ command! As a result we are able to really enjoyed our time with Enzo and getting to know each other as a family.
Enzo loves long walks and often bring most the leaves and dirt home with him through his long coat of hair. He loves all people and most dogs, even though we are trying to teach him to be calmer and being more polite at greeting people, I guess it will come when he’s older. He is also highly intelligent so training basic commands are easy and enjoyable for both of us. Although he could be quite stubborn i.e. at grooming time, but my persistent does work sometimes especially he knew he’ll get his treats after each session.
Enzo has many admirers and becoming quite well know within our neighbourhood. Other dog owners & their dogs will often come over to say hello, the next question often is “what breed is he?”, including at the Vet visit which he get even more cuddles and treats as part of his monthly visit. We look forward to him growing to be a teenager and mature into a fantastic member of our family. He gave us lots of love, trust and fun, in return we’ll ensure he feels our love and have the best happy life we are able to provide for him.
We are also the very proud winner of the 2022 New Year Raffle, and as you can see from the photos, the beautiful lead fits Enzo perfectly.
