GOLDEN OLDIES – Mia Mulligan
Mia is a one in a million, she will be 13 yrs old on 20th of December and over the years has fondly been given many nicknames; Mimi, Mia Moos, Barbara Windsor and Queen B. Despite her mature age, arthritic paws and her needing some doggy dentures, she is still full of beans.
Mia travels everywhere with us, never leaving our sides and is somewhat of a Bolognese show mascot, sitting on her chair and watching as the show circus goes on. When at shows, Mia is somewhat of a professionally heart melter staring at fellow exhibitors with her big black eyes, begging them to give her a treat, and of course she gets her way as they cannot resist. Occasionally if Mia doesn’t feel her dietary needs are being meet, she will venture off her chair and help herself to something that smells nice out of a treat bag, no matters who’s it is.
When she is not travelling the length and breath of the country, with the rest of her Bolognese clan, she loves running along the sandy beach for a mad five minutes at home on the Isle of Wight. We must admit as the years have gone on she does expect to be rewarded with a tangible food item for her being a good girl and ensuring she exercises.
Even though we have a house of 9 fluff balls, she will always be our very special girl, and the other fluffs know that she rules the house. We look forward to having many more years with her and making even more memories. A True First Lady.
