4th Best in Show for Lucia at Blackpool and Fylde

Karen Golden’s import Lucie May (Kaylo VH Balgzand) bred by Carolien Jonjegans in Holland went through from BOB Bolognese to 4th BIS at Blackpool and Fylde Toy Dog OPEN SHOW on Sunday 26th February. Judge Tom Isherwood.

We asked Karen how the day was, she was happy to share her news saying, “The show was very busy, there were 195 dogs in total and some Bolognese were in different classes as well. Greta Franklin won Best Puppy in breed and then Reserve Best Puppy in Show with Star Express Mystery Girl. It was a good day for Bolognese. Lucie was just into junior by 2 weeks. There were 6 in the junior class. The Best in Show was a Peke, followed by a Pug, Chihuahua and then me. But honestly what a friendly day. Everyone was excited for Crufts. It was a great atmosphere too, there were many champion dogs there on the last show before Crufts . So yes, a great day for everyone.“
