Ruby & Max Win Junior Handling Competition

Club members Mark & Diane Whateley from Birmingham went to Chertsey Agricultural Show on the 11th of August and entered all 3 dogs into the dog show. Granddaughter Ruby aged 10 won a First in Junior Handler with Max. They were proud of her as it was her first outing in the show ring and there were about 20 entrants. Max then went on to win a 3rd in the Toy and Utility Group and in a Novelty Class he got 5th place in Most Handsome Dog. The classes were quite big and he was up against some stiff competition so he did really well!

Two other grandchildren also entered with Bolognese, Phoebe aged 10 with and Bella and  Lily aged 8 with Cara.

Well done all of you, keep up with the dog showing. Lovely picture of Ruby and what a cup!

BREEDER & FOUNDER MEMBER Belstown Bolognese. I live with 3 Bolognese, show and breed and live in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. I also work part time as a support worker. I originally chose the breed for my daughter to show as a Junior Handler, but she has grown up and number of dogs have grown too! I originally trained as a Veterinary Nurse, as well as managing large show/breeding/boarding & quarantine kennels. I progressed to the commercial sector in sales and marketing of pet products, including running my own PR agency for pet related companies. Along with a few other like minded enthusiasts, we started this club in August 2015 as we felt the breed needed an information centre and a friendly group where people could share their views and learn more about the breed.
