BREEDER/JUDGE & FOUNDER MEMBER
Chris Thatcher owner of the Devonia affix. I have shown dogs now for over 35 years. I have owned Bolognese now for in excess of 24 years and I currently have 5 Bolognese ranging from under 20 months to nearly 13 years. My dogs are firstly pets and secondly Show Dogs. All breeding stock are health tested. My dogs are all kept in the house, none are kennelled. Most of my dogs originate from Italian lines. I have previously been successful in the show ring having had a Best Dog and Best Bitch at Crufts in the past. I have also had two Best in Show at the Bolognese Club Show the latest of which was September 2015 with Devonia's Red Hot Summer (Rosa). I imported a dog from Hungary in December 2020 who is maturing into a lovely specimen and to date has had three best of breeds and several Best of Sex at Championship Shows. He also has the most wonderful temperament. I do not breed very often but when I do, I breed, for quality, healthy well tempered puppies. I also write the Bolognese breed notes for the "Our Dogs" newspaper and have judged the breed at Championship show level in the past.

Devonia's Calabria

Kali was born on 10th January 2021 during lockdown so unfortunately missed out a lot on training and socialising. She has turned out to be a well balanced girl. She is not too keen on showing but enjoys her days out at the shows. All health tests have proved negative.

Devonia's Montecristo

Monty was born on 10.12.14. He is home bred. He exceeded all expectations in the show ring. He is a gentle and loving little dog but is now retired from the showring.

Kobanyai Pelyhes Odin with Devonia (Hu imp)

Odin was born on 6th August 2020 in Hungary. I was lucky enough to import him into the UK in the hopes of improving my breeding lines. Odin, is, however, enjoying a successful show career in the meantime. All health tests have proved negative.
