3 Years Old Already
Here is Luca on the big sofa where he loves sitting, watching birds in the garden and cars down on the road, keeping check of all the happenings at Angel Cottage.
Luca is now three years old, it’s amazing how quickly those years have gone by! In December 2017 we lost our first Bolognese Pico. How empty it was without him. My husband had said I wasn’t to have another dog, however, after Christmas , he relented and said YES I could have one. So I sent an email to Melanie, asking if she might possibly be planning to have puppies. At that point she wasn’t sure. However, a friend of hers was having a litter in February. So we met Deana Mee and arranged to have one of Athena’s puppies. The puppies arrived on February 11, two girls and two boys. We arranged to visit when the puppies were about four weeks old. So we met them all and chose our Luca. Actually I think he chose us as he snuggled into Jeffrey’s arms. In between then and collection date in May, I spent about six weeks in the USA with my daughters and their families. Deana sent me lots of photos and videos of the growing puppies, keeping me informed of their progress.
Finally back in the UK, unpacked and drove to Deana’s to collect our Luca. He was blissfully happy, settled in very quickly, was house trained in no time at all! And now he is three years old WOW.
