A PIECE OF BREED HISTORY – Crufts 2026
This was a memorable and historic occasion for everyone involved with the breed. After many years of campaigning for Challenge Certificate status, the day marked the beginning of a new chapter for Bolognese. We arrived at the NEC early, allowing our dogs and handlers time to settle, relax, and absorb the unique atmosphere of the halls before preparing for the upcoming show, which began promptly at 9 a.m. in front of an eager and appreciative audience. Meko took everything in his stride, the true showman that he is, delighting in the attention of onlookers and supporters of the breed alike. It was a day that will forever be remembered by all involved — a landmark moment for the Bolognese and, we hope, the start of increased visibility and appreciation for this charming breed. To say we are immensely proud of Meko would be an absolute understatement.
