SUMMARY:Greenwich Park MEET UP re-arranged
DESCRIPTION:We can announce our LONDON Bolognese Social Distance MEET UP for 2020 on the 13th of September. Obviously it’s weather dependent\, so if the forecast is bad\, we will have to postpone. Socially distant walks will be doable\, but eating together in a cafe may be a little more challenging\, so we may eat outside near the cafe so people can either buy something\, or bring their own food or drink\, it’s up to you. You may like to bring a chair or blanket and pop back to the car after the walk to collect extra items. We met in Greenwich Park in 2018 and it was a lovely venue\, so it will be great to do it again! \nWe will meet at The Pavilion Cafe in Greenwich Park LONDON at 11.30 and take a walk in the park\, followed by food/drink. Parking is £1.20 per hour inside the park. It can be busy but is a lovely park. There was plenty of parking available last time. Just a note to say please keep your dogs under control and if necessary on a lead if behaviours get a bit anti-social as it can happen if they get excited or overwhelmed\, especially the males! \nClub members attending the MEET UPS will be entitled to a FREE Bolognese Canvas Bag as a gift from the club (worth £10). Non-members will be able to purchase a bag for £12. We will also be running a raffle with FREE tickets for Members. SUMMARY:POSTPONED South West MEET UP Lovely Tea Rooms
DESCRIPTION:The club are pleased to announce its fifth Bolognese Social MEET UP at Wharf Side Tea Rooms on Sunday the 20th of September 2020\, this year socially distant. We had a great time on previous years and the owners were very friendly and keen to see us again. Obviously it’s weather dependent\, so if the forecast is bad\, we will have to postpone. DESCRIPTION:We have planned another return MEET UP at The Fleur De Lys near Henley-in-Arden on Sunday the 11th Of October\, this time keeping socially distant. We had such a lovely time when we met there last year and look forward to going there again. We will meet at The Fleur De Lys picturesque pub on the banks of the Stratford Canal in Lowsonford. There is really easy access to this venue from the M40. The pub is very doggy friendly\, but naturally does have some COVID restrictions. We will only be outside\, the beer garden will have a queueing system in place for service from the external hatch window. They do not take reservations for external tables\, but as we are there early we should be able to grab a few together. Outside\, food service will be in the form of disposable takeaway containers and condiments. \nWe plan to meet at 11AM\, take a walk by the canal (if it is not too muddy). There is also a field nearby that the dogs can run on. Around midday we can have lunch or a snack at the pub. DESCRIPTION:We are returning to West London and the lovely Chiswick House and Gardens on Burlington Lane\, Chiswick\, London W4 2RP www.chiswickhouseandgardens.org.uk for this years LONDON MEETUP on the 20th June 2021. We went there 2-years ago and really enjoyed it\, we found shade under the trees as it was a hot day. Up to 30 people can officially meet outside now and social distancing between friends and family is discretionary. If the weather forecast is bad\, we will have to cancel. SUMMARY:Sevenoaks Bolognese MEET UP
DESCRIPTION:Our plan for this Bolognese MEET UP is to meet in The White Hart Sevenoaks garden at 11.30\, have some meet and great time\, food & drink will be available and then go for a walk in  the park which is right across the road. There are free roaming deer in the park\, so dogs must be kept under control. The White Hart is a lovely dog friendly pub which is right opposite 2 entrances to Knole Park and has a large garden with shade. We have contacted the pub and they are very happy to accomodate us. We will have a raffle and some fun classes as is the normal at MEET UPS and very much enjoyed by all. DESCRIPTION:The club are pleased to announce its fifth Bolognese Social MEET UP at Wharf Side Tea Rooms on Sunday the 5th of September 2021. We had a great time on previous years and the owners were very friendly and keen to see us again. Obviously it’s weather dependent\, so if the forecast is bad\, we will have to postpone. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a new MEET UP location near Reigate in Surrey where we plan to meet on Sunday the 19th of June 2022. One of our club members John Twaites has kindly recommended this venue and made the booking for us. Please RSVP as we must give them final numbers well in advance. We will meet at The Plough in Leigh\, Reigate Surrey at 11.30 (table booked for 12 midday). The pub is doggy friendly and we have booked outside tables to give as plenty of space. SUMMARY:MEET UP Kewstoke in Somerset
DESCRIPTION:We have found a great place to meet on the 4th of September 2022 a licenced Fish and Chip Restaurant at Sand Bay. They have a covered Gazebo on part of the property. It is just outside of Weston Super Mare and easy to get to. Sand Bay has just one road Beach Road\, the restaurant is on one side of the road\, the other side it is the beach. There is a path which runs for a couple of miles just above the sand so if people want to walk they can do so. We contacted the restaurant and they are happy with the dogs outside\, so we have asked for reservations under cover\, they were happy to do so. SUMMARY:Worcestershire MEET UP
DESCRIPTION:We have secured a NEW venue for a lovely Bolognese MEET up in Witley on the 14th of May 2023. Everybody is welcome. The venue is The Garden Tea Rooms Great Witley which is adjacent to Witley Church and near to the ruins of Witley Court (English heritage) one of England’s great country houses. The area is well worth a visit. We will meet at 11.30 for a chat and an introduction to everybody (and the dogs). We will stay at the tea rooms for lunch\, coffee or snacks (your choice) and then go for a little walk if the weather is dry. The walk will take us round the gardens\, up to the Baroque Church and back in front of Witley Court ruin. The Court is next to Britain’s finest baroque church\, Witley Church\, complete with an extensive crypt with its own fascinating history. The traditional English tea rooms grew out of a need to raise funds for the upkeep of the church. Now the tea rooms has itself become a visitor attraction. Taking tea in more than an acre of garden\, formerly Lady Rachel Dudley’s private topiary garden\, visitors can still see where her tennis court lay. DESCRIPTION:Our Surrey and Kent MEET UPS have been great successes. So\, we would love to meet you all again and have chosen a lovely dog friendly pub called The Blue Anchor in Reigate\, hope you can make it. Its Saturday the 10th of June 2023. Everybody is welcome.
